Missed county commissioner by 11 votes. Got too busy since then to run again but when my life calms down will enter the public arena again. And running for office you get to meet a lot of opinionated people, oddly enough the stronger you stand up to them the more they like you (told a few to bite me during my campaign).

It was a real learning experience. Had to report my income, savings and investments. Had to name a campaign manager and headquarters (me and my house). Found out 500 bucks can buy quite a few signs to put out. Got to meet some interesting people doing the walking and knocking on doors thing. It sounds hard but it is actually easy to do. The people at the election commision are suppose to help you in getting your name on the ballot, it is up to you to get the names on your running petition though (a lot easier than I thought it would be).

I had fun on my run even though I lost.

Yeah, I figure since it doesn't matter what the majority of Americans want, I'll run for president, I'll just pay off the College of Electoral votes like every other president seems to do.

Really, why run when you have to be corrupt to get there? I want to be able to do good things for this country, not bad things, so I'd rather not have to sell my soul to get into power.

Spend $10 million to get a $400k a year job, what's the incentive?

Presidents are not elected by the majority of American citizens, they are elected by a college of electoral votes, I don't even know why they hold elections or even have recounts.

I would rather not get into office so others can hide their illegal doings in my name, I wish elected officials made less than $45k a year and got health benefits. I think elected officials shouldn't be touted by political parties either, they only make it to the political ticket by being friends with other corrupt politicians.

Honestly, I did think of running for any office to make changes, but I find I can't even live with myself if I feel I cheated anyone out of anything, and I wouldn't be able to survive having to compromise my morals in order to get enough power to make the necessary decisions or changes.

I am pro medicinal hemp, anti government conspiracy, and really think the college of electoral votes should be done away with so popular vote counts again. I am for holding those in office responsible for their actions, exposing illicit dealings, and getting rid of religious leadership in a multi-religion country. I believe in a god but do not believe the men writing the holy books were out to do more than serve the religious institutions.

How do you spell the word IMPEACH or LYNCH? I disagree with so many policies that are in current use that I would have a snowball's chance in hell of: 1)being elected, or 2) being in office long enough to flip on the light switch. Politics are an acquire penchant for complying or placating...I could do neither.

Actually, I'm planning on running for POTUS in 2008.

Here's my platform.

I am the founder of the SPLATT (short for Stop PLATe Tectonics) political party. We are an environmentalist wacko movement. Our platform is shaky. It's to eliminate earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis and the damage that they cause.

Our mascot: the flatworm

Theme songs: "Shake, Rattle and Roll", "Whole Lot of Shaking Going On", "I Fell the Earth Move Under My Feet", "Hunka Burning Love", "Ebb Tide", "Surfin’ USA", “Catch a Wave”

Energy saving device: Lava Lamps *
Environmental clean-up agent: Lava soap *

Favorite food, breakfast: squash pancakes
Favorite food, lunch: blue plate special
Favorite food, supper: plank steak
Snack food: thick crust pizza
Beverage: milk shakes
Adult beverage: vodka martini, shaken, not stirred

I hope I didn’t make an ash of myself ~<{:-)]#

Thank you for your support (Bartles and James commercial)
