Unfortunately you will have to take them to court. The mother of a soldier killed in Iraq could not get her sons e-mail so you have no chance. I think the family tried to get the password in a law suit but was unsuccessful. I am personally happy with yahoo and there policy on their customers privacy. Have you ever thought that there could be some e-mail on your brothers account that could damage his reputation or relationship with his family and friends. Sometimes it is just wiser to leave it be.

Nobody will give you your brother's password. The most any place would do is reset it. Usually, however, you need to know a secret answer to a question in order to this.
