i know females that think they r slutty and they will have no future becuz they lost their virginity.is this common??

I lost mine when I was 11! I was just kid. I had no freakin clue what it even was. Before that I was popular I was class president and after that I didn't know where I fit in. I didn't know what to do. I hung out with the people that I thought I would fit in with. The druggies, the drunks, the headbangers whatever. And you become like those you spend the most time with right? So that became ME. We all have pivotal moments in our lives. I wish I could go back and change that ONE moment when I didn't say no. It has taken me YEARS to get my self esteem and self WORTH back up to normal.

That's what happens when girls decide to have sex before marriage. It wreaks havoc on your emotions, on your life. Sex before marriage is the most painful sin because it is a sin against your own body. It's meant to be a deep, intimate connection between one man and one woman, and when it's not done that way, it leaves the girl feeling empty and unloved and lonely. Sex is a gift from God that was meant to be enjoyed in a marriage relationship only. Otherwise, it's just bad news. The thing is that your friends that think that about themselves need to know that they can be forgiven and God can instill in them a pure heart if they let Him so they can present themselves to their husband with a pure heart and spirit! It's not over once you've messed up. Humans mess up; it's just what we do. The great thing about God is that He is all about forgiveness. That's why He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross - to save us! He forgave us for all of our sins, past, present and future when He did that, and if we accept Him, nothing can defeat us. Nothing at all. Now that's a good feeling. :)

Depends on the circumstances.
If you lose your virginity because you want to be liked, because you feel pressured, because you feel like you should -- then you might regret it later. But it's no reason to feel like you have no future. Your future can be full of better decisions.
If you lose your virginity because you are in love; you are in a committed relationship; you are comfortable talking about sex with your partner; you are ready to be safe; you are old enough; and you want to -- then you may feel a little different afterwards, but there's no reason for you to feel worse.

It is common if after losing their virginity the Guy treats them badly. for example if a girl sleeps with a guy and then he never calls her again she may feel used (and she was) but she may feel like it was her fault and she should have known what was gonna happen or she may feel like she was too easy. If after wards the man is still very caring and calls her she will feel appreciated and like she is worth something and is more than just a sex toy.

It all has to do with being ready, and who you do it with. If you are not ready or go with someone who treats you like crapp most likely you will feel bad about yourself. But if you have good self esteem before, I don't think you will feel like you have no future.

It depends on the circumstances and the girl.
It would be interesting to know why these girls think they're sluts. Having sex does not make you a slut. Sleeping around with every Tom, Dick & Harry does.

Maybe they just regret ever doing it with the person which is probably tearing them apart. Otherwise I never see anyone like that besides any other reason.

They are probably young and are too immature to understand the emotional consequences that come along with having sex.

the self esteem part is very common. depression follows very quickly afterwards. That's why its important not to have sex till you are older.
