It had nine seasons. They didn't really win the lottery, that was part of a book that Roseanne wrote. But when they made you think they won the lottery was at the beginning of the ninth,and final season. Dan died.

I don't know how many seasons it lasted (or how long they actually consider a TV season), but I do know it lasted for several years.
They won the lottery in the final season, or pretty close, and then the last episode said something about that all didn't actually happen, that Dan died when he had his heart attack and they didn't win the lottery. That's what I remember from it anyway; I haven't seen that episode in years.

9 seasons- they never hit the lottery- it was actually a book she was righting as a way to cope after dan died at darlene and MARKS wedding. The whole 9 seasons was her book. watch the last episode.
