^ You're all either still in your young teens, or don't truly understand hip hop history, nontheless know squat about anything - kids^

Nothing trivially focused.
I just know he WAS an excellent freestyle rapper but slipped badly. The Marshall Mathers LP was his last -real- rap album, and again, he had major skills back in his early upcomings in the rap game, such was the case on The Wake Up Show with Sway and King Tech. And in retrospect, his petty mentioning and attacks on celebrities to catch superficial ears was a cheap move, except for the ones where he defended himself. Along with that, his rap topics were just novelty, like shock raps where he would describe downright daffy, violently animated nonsense to impress young angry suburbanite kids. So looking back, he wasn't that good in the first place. The only thing he had was hype, thanks to Interscope/Aftermath - Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, who also shouldn't be taken so seriously just because he gruffed up his voice and dresses in black. His production skills are above average but nothing extravagant since he has help from truly skilled underground west coast producers Cool & Dre who deserve more shine. In a nutshell, Eminem was as much as a fad as Vanilla Ice but wiith more brownie points, and his attempts at making songs that were solemn or made you think after The Marshall Mathers LP came up gravely short. And just for laughs and reason to see Dr. Dre taken down a few notches [he is not real, Eazy E was real and ripped him on Real Muthafukkn G's], here is a pic from either Eazy's "187um Dre Killa" album's insert, or back of the album. It points to the queer things he's wearing like sequins and lipstick. Even though some hip hop artists dressed flamboyantly in its early days, Dr. Dre overdid it.....
