Do you make a piercing in the skin, then put the nozzle throught that? I have heard of this, but I do not know how. Asking only out of curiosity.

Yes, You use a needle like one would use to blow up a basket ball. Put needle under the skin, turn on air and it will separate the skin from the fat layer.

Having overheard a onversation just a few days ago between two hunters at our local pub I can tell you that you do not put the nozzle in the bullet hole... it has very yucky results... make a nik in the skin elswhere and yep the skin comes right off...
please make sure the animal is dead before doing this..
