ls the Limewire website good for downloading free music,or should it be avoided.l have heard good and bad,Not sure about what to do.Any suggestions.Thank you.

its a great website. I have used just about every music peer to peer service and limewire is very sophisticated and up-to-date. It has my endorsement..

There are no files for sharing on the Limewire website. NONE!
Limewire (along with BearShare, Shareaza and others) connects to the Gnutella network. That's where the file sharing is. It's a network, not a website.

yes.u can log on to www.limewire.com or u can open the google
site and write limewire in the white box in the middle of the screen
then u can download the limewire software.

i use limewire all the time. i have at least 500 songs from it so if it was bad...i would have found out by now

My experience....horrible. Always fighting viruses from it. I took it out and never looked back,
Most of my friends have had nothing but trouble either.

it is ok if you can't find free stuff right now.
it is faster if you pay for your music.
but if you don't mind waiting a few extra minutes, then you'll get on all right.
