Yes. I watched the pain and agony that my ex husband's present wife went through when she lost her only child, her 21 year old daughter. Being a mother myself I found myself sobbing as I saw her really heart-wrenching pain.

It's not as much as feeling sorry, but that my heart was breaking to see someone I loved suffer, and that there was absolutely nothing I could do to ease that suffering.
