Okay, I took my PSAT last year in 10th grade and I'm going to take some in a couple of months. My PSAT score was 1250 is that a bad score? What are some ways to improve my score?

study your a** off! the more you study & memorize the information that you are going to be tested on, the better you will do. you can also take some SAT prep classes, stay after school for extra help, or read books that are all about SAT prep, good study ideas, & way to help you budget your time so you can pass & do the best you can! flash cards worked for me! also, just don't stress yourself out & over think it! the more you get paranoid about doing badly, the lower your score. also, study plenty ahead of time! cramming the night before is no fun & your school will reflect that. also take your time on the test, check over your answers, & relax. good luck!!

By studying what they give you. When you register there ia a practice pamplet that is in the packet. Just do those questions and you'll be fine. I took the SAT three times and that's all I did to get ready. I made good scores on all three. Also make sure you keep writing during the writing part of the exam. It is the first part of the test and you only get 25 mins just like every other part. Try to not get off subject. Make something up if you have to and write at least 5 complete paragraphs. With an intro and conclusion. Make sure you eat a good meal before taking the test and bring a bottle of water. It will help out alot.

Well, if they still score them the same way that they did when I was taking them then that is a really good score, especially for your first time taking it. Congratulations!
You can try taking one of those Princeton Review courses. They supposedly prep you for the exam. I never took one but people who did sure did score a lot better than I did!

get one of the SAT study books. 1250 is not a bad score at all.

I suggest you talk to your school counselor about the score and how to study for the SAT's. The public library should have study books for the SAT test that should help.

By putting alot of study hours and by tryin your best and just relax and take it calmly dont be in a rush but the best way is to study greatly before the test.

study alot but not too much in one day i heard its better to space it out and don't be nervous during the test (i know i always am)

study and be confident. you can do anything you set your mind to, just dont think about it too hard and you'll be ok.
