The glass is half empty and here's why?

because, nobody in their right minds, fills a glass half way, unless their goin to add something else to it, wait, then in that case it could be half full, damn, my bad...

My glass is alway half empty so when the beer maid comes around I have room for more on free beer hour. :-)

They have done studies on this. If the glass is full in the beginning and subjects are then shown a half-filled glass, they call it "half empty". If the glass is empty in the beginning and subjects are then shown a half-filled glass, they tend to call it "half full".

So the starting point matters.

Well since you have it all figured out, can you tell me why people say the glass is either half full or half emty. Does that mean we see things in a good way or a bad way?

Actually, the glass is always FULL... yes, because... the human concept is to see liquid in a glass..., but the glass is always full when you consider that it has half liquid and half AIR... and so... even if ZERO liquid... the glass is still full.... of air... and there, the glass is always full....
