and people attack you? I asked a question about my children learning what it is like for them to be around people with a different ethnicity, race, etc., and people are attacking me making me sound like 'i'm' prejudice when that is the furthest from the truth.
What is wrong with people?

I gave almost a whole page of detail and so far it's been twisted into whatever it is they want to see it as.
Should I have just said I'M NOT A RACIST? Would that have helped?

The internet tends to bring out the worst in people. People will verbally assault without remorse because they don't feel any kind of sympathy for a person that is simply text and pictures to them. They will be mean because they can be anonymous about it. People who can barley say a word in the real world can talk enormous amounts of **** online. There are all kinds of reasons for it. The basic theme is that the internet has a tendency to bring out the worst in (many, not all) people.
As far as your last post goes; 'should' you have typed out that you weren't a racist and things along those lines? No. You shouldn't have to do that. Did you 'need' to type it out though? Yes probably. Reason being is people will jump at the slightest chance to insult someone on here. (On here: Yahoo Answers, Online Forums, Online Chat, etc). When it comes right down to it, people are just downright mean sometimes. I'm sorry you had to deal with it. Try to ignore it as best you can.

some people dont know how to look outside the box and are closed minded. Meet some other people who have children outside your race maybe at a park or at daycare and start a conversation your children will learn from you first. Maybe invite the parents to your house and the children over to play. Most children are color blind until the parents show a difference. Dont worry i have seen other people get attacked too for asking similar questions.

There is a lot of racism out there in the world and a lot of people won't admit to being racist.they only attack because they are trying to hide something themselves or they are just to scares to drop the race barriers and see what it is like just talking to someone of another race or creed.I have got friends from a lot of different cultures and we have never taken any notice of what other people think or say as it is my life and theirs and i have learnt a lot from all these other cultures.there is absolutely no reason for these acid attacks when someone asks just a simple question.if they can't answer it nicely then why bother answering at all.

what you mean by "people"! (jus joking) u have 2 understand, everybody wasn't raised the same so u might not meant no harm but people sometimes r sensitive 2 certain comments, and coming from another race just makes the case even more. on the other hand, people like to play and be messy so that might be the case also.

people have a bad day at work then they can get on here and act like jerks and some people actually believe that if you ask questions about other races then automatically your a racist!..also some people on here are very young and just like to show their age by giving crappy answers and be rude to people!

They are stupid. Most answers I read are ridiculous!
I actually take my time to read the question in entirety, put thought into my answers and not be judgemental.
I'm proud of the fact that several of my answers have been chosen as best b/c they see I really care about actually helping them with their problem, question or concern!
I'm sorry that happened to you. Feel free to write me with your original question and I'll do what I can to help you!

Cinn, i think of you're spot on yet do we in simple terms get a sprint huge distinction between atheists and anti-theists? i don't think of they might desire to be lumped together. they might pass hand in hand on occasion yet not each and every atheist is an anti-faith Christopher Hitchens-like clone.

Some people interpret questions as a criticism or a personal attack, although i am not sure why. They must have taken it personally to react so strongly.
