A common modus operandi of spammers is to send you emails pretending to come from legit banks (supposedly regarding your bank accounts, credit cards, and such). This sort of thing is called "Phishing." NEVER, EVER click on those fake email messages because if you do, you will find it annoyingly hard to close those sites. Your computer might even get infected with spywares too.
If you receive an unsolicited communication through email from somewhere in Africa, then most likely than not, IT'S A SCAM. There are email scams from Africa that come in all sorts of form: you won the lottery (even without buying a ticket, huh!), someone died and wants to leave you millions and millions of dollars (and they just happened to decide to leave that money to you, a complete stranger), and stupid stuff like that. Don't reply to any of those emails, or they'll just keep sending you more garbage.

They are scams. Never answer them or give out any information in email. Just forward them to the Federal Trade Commission or delete them (or block sender). Don't reply because then they are sure your email is a working email.

Welcome to the world or phishing and nigerian advance fee fraud. Just delete it and tell your spam filter it is spam, if you have one that accepts this input.
