No. Usually exe files are safe if you know what they are, but don't download one unless you scan it first. I wouldn't .

Use these:

Run the tool and then download the free spyware and virus protection programs:

Malicious virus removal tool:

Ad-Aware Free download:

Good Luck

The real truth is there is no exact same answer. Any files you download on the internet, no matter what type they are may contain a virus. If you have decent virus control on your computer though, you should not have any problems with this program. But be warned: if you have a small amount of computer knowledge it may be hard for you to download this program.

an exe file is an executable file. meaning it is a file that is opened by the user. your web browser is an exe and so are any of the games on your pc that you play, any program you use. yes it is possible that an exe file can be a virus also. so with the information given i will just let you decide for yourself weather or not you trust the content on that site and if you feel it is worth it.

There's a very good chance of getting a virus in an .exe file. You won't get infected by downloading an infected .exe file, but always scan them for viruses before running them! Once you run it, you're infected.

Yeah, no. I've gotten viruses over limewire/frostwire and it's not even worth it. Try getting it from somewhere safer, maybe like http://rapidshare.de
