Well, you shouldn't trust the dictionary completely.
By those definitions, no one is. Besides, I don't think that "sane" is a word that describes a lot of people.

There's nothing in this universe, material or mental; physical or spiritual that can be defined as 'perfect'. Perfection is way beyond our grasp. We belong to an imperfect world, which has certain standards to its levels of 'soundness'. The nearest existence to perfection is a dim silhouette of the real existence.
Based on that, the answer to your question is "None". Even if we try to lower our standards of perfection and limit your question within the concept of perfection known to man on earth so far, we will see that nobody has reached the ultimate material level of perfection, not in history, nor at the present time. As far as our current history records, all geniuses of the world, including prophets, were not perfect, and had some flaw of some sort or another. So, if your condition of sanity is perfection, even at the material level, no one is sane.

But that's not what sanity means at all. Sanity/insanity aren't DSM classicifications anyway, but if they were, I think being sane would just be a case of not having any of the list of specific mental disorders. Basically not having any behavioural traits that significantly impair your ability to function in society. By that criteria, a great many people are sane.

Well throwing the word "perfection" in there makes this informal logic not quite true (or false), and therefore not sound.

But anyone with a healthy mental state is considered "sane", now who defines a healthy mental state? We have psychological norms, statutes, patterns that society uses.

Sane comes from the Latin, sanitas, meaning health or healthy. I am sane. You are too.

People get more insane as they get older.
