I heard a rumor that Cookie Monster is going to be replaced by a fruit/vegetable monster. Is that true? I heard its because kids started acting like Cookie Monster. Has he been replaced? Can they really replace the legendary Cookie Monster? Do kids like this fruit/vegetable monster?

Me want cookies. Ok, just having a flashback. LOL. I did read in Entertainment Weekly a new character will be introduced Monday. Abby or something, a girl. Maybe they're phasing Cookie Monster out. How ridiculous he must eat in Moderation. Don't parents have to GIVE the kid cookies! shhesh..

I think, though, that what's more important is the message that Cookie Monster is sending about bulimia. Have you ever noticed that he never actually swallows what he's eating? Watch him carefully. He just crushes the cookie in his mouth and casually sweeps it all out and onto the floor.

:D

I agree! The cookie monster never taught me to eat like him! He should eat as many cookies he wants!

Ok--Cookie Monster is sending messages about bulimia? Are you serious?

Of course he doesn't swallow anything he eats--HE IS A FREAKING PUPPET!! They can't swallow.

Get a life---stop overanalyzing. Cookie Monster no more contributes to bulimia or any other eating disorer than Big Bird does. Sheesh!
