How about you look in your control panel of it under add remove programs.
It could be a file orphaned and left behind from your anti virus ware.
If you can't deal it from control panel or right click and delete,, try downloading a product www.ccleaner.com and run it, then after you run it,, click the next icon down that says fix all errors and see if that gets it as an orphaned file if so then tell it to fix all errors.

Are you sure it is not a system folder?
Try clicking View, Hide Hidden Files.

To display hidden files and folders
Open Folder Options in Control Panel.
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Folder Options
.
On the View tab, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

Notes: Hidden files and folders will appear dimmed to indicate they are not typical items. Usually, hidden files are program or system files that should not be deleted or changed. To display other hidden files, clear the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) check box.

If you know the name of a hidden file or folder, you can search for it. If you want to see all file name extensions, clear the Hide file extensions for known file types check box.

all those files you named above have been created by your computer (windows) so as it can regonise the external hard drive as its own i wouldn't worry to much if there only empty files they would be taking up stuff all room and if it does bother you that there there right click on it click properties then just turn hidden on and go to tools folder options then swich off view hidden files then you will never even know they are there

if it was made when another user signed on your computer, with a password, it can only be deleted by that person. just keep an eye on it for changes, make sure you have show all files and folders checked in folder options and see if there is anyting itn it

Yes, this happens if somebody created this folder and passworded it under the MS-DOS platform. You need the password to delete copy, or do anything with this folder. It is usullay named as " - ". I guess you are not using Windows XP. Hopefully this helped

Copy all of the other files on the external drive that you want to save to your PC. Format the external drive. Copy all of your files back onto the external drive.

Is the folder repeatedly appear after you deleted it several time?
If it does, then your computer is at risk. It's a virus called "Brontok" .

are you looking at the hidden files? there may be hidden files in there, and folders won't felete when there's something in them.

I think you have to go to folders options and choose "see hidden files" or something like that.
