i just started but i dont think that its a problem with me holding my muscles in, becuase i can feel when im contracting them or w/e but yeah i can't get even the applicator in.......what does this mean?
p.s. im a virgin

* Use "slender" size tampons.
* Stand on the floor and put one leg up on the toilet seat.
* Make sure you are really relaxed.
* Try using some lubricant -- K-Y Jelly, for example -- but tell one of your parents before you buy it, because if they find it, they may assume that you are sexually active.

try standing up instead of sitting on the toilet. It helps straighten out the vaginal space so that insertion is easier. Relax and put the tampon in as far as it will COMFORTABLY go and then pull the applicator back and push the tampon in. Standing is how I have to do it, and Ive had 4 kids!!!!! Sometimes, the structure is narrow on some women, and standing is much more comfortable. Tampons still hurt me if I try to put one in sitting down.

You have to be relaxed. And just follow the instructions on insertion. Most tampons come with instructions. Make sure you put it in far enough or it'll slip down an annoy you. Good Luck!!

are yopu skinny that might mean somthing or maby u need smaller tampons

lift one leg up on a stool, relax..slow push the applicator in.. your are too dry and tense hence you cant put it in.

I couldn't get it in either when I started. Use pads for now.

relax. try a smaller sized one maybe. it will happen eventually. just keep trying and u will get it.
