It is okay to talk alot.

Sometimes some people talk to relieve stress, some people talk to sort out their thoughts and some people talk because they just cannot stand silence ;)

I love to talk and talk alot too.

However, listening is a valuable skill to pick up. Only when you listen will you be able to talk and create value to other people's lives and only then will others appreciate your 'talk'.

Since you have to talk anyway, might as well talk some sense and make people feel appreciated, dun you agree?

People like others to listen to them and they always like to talk about ME ME ME.... if you give them a chance to talk.. they will soon want to find out about you as well and will like you too.

Most people do not enjoy talking to people who talk non stop about themselves. Do you?

I had a colleague who would go on for an hour or two about himself. All my other colleagues shunned him and I was kind of like his only friend left because I listened. So whenever he goes on a tour, he would buy me things but not for others.

But listening is a skill you have to practice. Try asking open ended questions and let other people talk for 30 mins at least. Pinch yourself if you feel like interuptting.

Good luck! ;)

Sometimes it is advisable to listen more, talk less. But if you're not being annoying to anyone and not doing it to just hear the sound of your own voice, then I think you'll be okay. Keep talking!! :0)

YES. Conversation is a very good thing, but when one person does all the talking, it gets old really, really quick. Try listening for a while.

Sorry dude, I'm a talker too and trying to stop is impossible-- we're just those kinds of people, live with it and move on.

Yes, please. For everyone. My boyfriend talks too much, and I'm too nice to tell him so. Just take a clue.
