I know very little about car repair. I have mild front end damage from a rearend car accident. For a Chicago suburb, what costs are likely involved to get my Jeep running (not including body work)?

Minimum radiator replacement ~$200,
likely brake hose or cylinder damage ~$100;
however hard to recover for less than $500 without body work.

Having a Jeep myself ,but not seeing the total damage. With what info you gave , radiator, radiator hoses, a steering box and or power steering lines. If it was bad enough to damage these items you would also want to have the front end looked at and aligned.

there is no way me or any body else can answer this with any honesty,,without seeing the vehicle,,you said it had fluids leaking out of it,,so it must have some serious damage,,you need to take it and have it checked out,,or have someone come and look at it for you,i hope this will help you,,you probably are going to need some serious repair work done to it.

Repair to your radiator (possible new one) and repair to your power steering line w/ a refill of PS fluid. The real expence is the labor - it might be as much as the parts themselves...body work not withstanding...

with the power steering out, you can bet there is front end damage with the tie rods, transmission and radiator will have to be replaced. many things can't always be seen, but from your basic description about 2 grand at least.
