These are some of what I've seen....and other random ideas.

•Matching hearts.
•Matching paw prints.
•Eachother's zodiac sign intertwined
•Eachother's birthstone colours intertwined into a design
•Using your partner's birthstone colour as the dominant colour of your tattoo.
•Matching Kanji Japenese symbols that say 'love' 'companionship' 'soulmate' or whatever.
•Matching eternity knots.
•Matching ring tattoos.

My fiance has a big mural, i guess u can say, on his torso, and i only have a few, i preferred to keep mine under 5...but anyway he has a heart-shaped lock tattooed on the left side of his chest, appropriate because that's where his heart is...and on my wrist I have a tattoo of a key...get it...I have the key to his heart...the only bad part is that getting the tat on my wrist hurt like hell...

But if u find a good artist and discuss what you want, they usually can draw something original for you.
Good Luck

My aunt and uncle each got half a heart, I don't remember where, but it has a quote about love on it, like half the quote on my aunt, the rest on my uncle.
