On the yahoo home page at the bottom, far right, third line from the bottom, you will see a link called "Switch to Old Page." Click that and you will be back to the old page.
Another way to search on Yahoo and not use the new page is to use http://search.yahoo.com. Set it as your home page in your browser. It's Yahoo, but it looks like google!
Someone else suggested My.Yahoo.com, that's a good idea too!

I think if you scroll down to the bottom of the page it has a button you can select to go back to the old home page. Also, if you can see "my account", usually there is a link there, also, that will take you back to the old version.

I switched to my.yahoo.com
