Not really scary at all. There are a few "jump in your seat" moments, but overall not a scary movie.

I hate horror movies and anything really scary. Lady in the Water definitely has it's *jump* places that scare you real quick. The creatures could be described as scary but they aren't that bad. I really enjoyed the movie and will probably buy it when it comes out.

The movie isn't really scary..it has some good suspense though.
The story plot isn't good at all.. and M.Night is in the entire movie just made it blow too.. he's a good writer in most part, but as an actor he sucks..
Over-all I gave the movie a D-
Not worth the $$$ to pay to go see it, wait til it comes out on video!

It's a good movie, but not particularly scary. There are a few creepy moments and lots of suspense, but it's not a full-on terrifying experience.
I would recommend it, though. It's very creative and twisty.
If you want to be scared, go see The Descent.

The scary parts I found to be funny - in fact most people in the movie were scoffing and laughing. Overall I have to say it was a good idea, but poorly executed. It needed less talk and more action and less Narfs and Scrunts.

There are a few places where I jumped, but not because it was necessarily scary. It was very interesting and the story really pulled me in. I recommend it.

I didn't find it scary at all...not a bad movie...it's based on a Japanese fairytale I believe.
