The US government says that only ten percent of the us population are consider rich. Does anybody know what is the money amount to be consider rich?

Rich - A value is what the government considers rich.
My opinion, family friends, a roof and food....I am rich, worth more than money can buy.

I don't think you can actually put a dollar amount as in money. BUT I would think someone might be considered rich if they can spend money without having to give concern as to how much something cost when they buy it. And NOT be concerned if this will hurt them or how they are going to pay for it.

I guess it all depends on where you live. If you live in or near New York City, southern California or certain other expenisve areas, you would need to make more to be rich. If you live in Idaho you could live "rich" if you made more then 100,000 I would think. To be rich living in New York you would probably need to make closer to 1 million. To me being rich is when you really dont have to worry about money anymore. You can live day to day and not have to worry about paying bills, or getting by.

Generaly they are refurring to people whom make over $500,000 per year and are worth more than 10 times their annual income.

dont know money amount,but when you dont have to ask the price for anything you want to buy......that is rich
