what makes you love a person that you love?

I can't really define what it is that makes me love him. I guess its the whole package and the combination of both good and bad.

I guess this is why love is an emotion that cannot be understood. I think if its only one thing that makes you love a person then it cannot be sustained coz what if that one thing fades. Does the love then just go away?
