I have 24 the game, I'm on hour 23 and it won't load. Looking at the disc there are a few small scratches.

You can buy a disc repair kit or you can take a 100% cotton cloth and clean it, but really you should get a disc repair kit. If you clean it with the cloth then make sure you wipe the shiny side of the disk from the middle to the edge. Don't ever wipe it in a circular motion always from the middle to the edge.

no here this is what you need to do, ok you know the top of the disc? not the shiny part the place where the picture is, ok take two pieces of scotch tape and put them right next to the hole in the center like two parrelle lines. if it doesn't work then keep putting tape on it until it works! I garentee it will work, the ps2 has a balencing problem and the telp helps balence.

i have the same problem with nba live 06 after every few games its loading than the loading bar stop moving dont waste ur money on a repair kit because it cost 100$ it is a drive that has a polisher thing u have to put a liquid on it and than the drive spins the cd wiping it with the polishing sponge all it does is clean it

no u can't fix scratches that are like indented but u can clean dust and dirt on it with a wet cloth.

just use the cleaner, my ps2 games stop loading all the time and all i do is dust them off and they r fine.

i use Merlin's Disc Magic, you can buy it at walmart, it works good on cd's , dvd's and game discs
