Yes but she'll most likely have to go to a community college first to prove that she is serious about her grades. If she does well then she'll be able to transfer to a University. I think its best to start at a community college anyways, its much cheaper for the same gen-ed classes. If she fell behind due to friends and partying it might not be good for her to go away to college and get involved with the party life. It definately won't help her.

Yes it is possible. You may not get into the college that you want but you can go to college. You can start out at a Community College. Most Community Colleges have partnerships with 4 year colleges to transfer your credits. They work in partnerships to allow this to happen. In the past Community Colleges (then called Junior Colleges) had a negative impact but now that has changed. I went and still go to a community college called Clark State in Springfield, Ohio and they have partnership agreements with surrounding colleges. As a matter of fact, they have a partnership with Wittenberg University which is a very good college and cost over $30,000 a year to attend. In the summer many of the Wittenberg students take classes at Clark State to save money. I now attend Franklin University in Columbus (which is a private college) and all of my credits transferred and am still taking classes at Clark State which is over 3 times cheaper and they will take my credits and I will graduate from Franklin. I know this because in high school I was not that serious about my grades but now I have graduated from Clark State Community College with a G.P.A. of 3.789. Community Colleges are also good because of the small class size and they have classes called devolpment classes that you can take which will prepare you for college classes. In today's world a person needs a degree and it is often said that an associate's degree is today's high school diploma. The government will also help you with grants and loans to pay for your tuition and to give you some spending money but you have to pay the loans back. Walk into your nearest community college and ask them and they will help. Knowledge is the key to success. Life can take away your job, money, family, but NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY YOUR KNOWLEDGE. Get it because when you walk across that stage and they give you your diploma there is no other feeling like it. With hard work you can go from a Community College to the college that you want. NOW GO GET IT!!!!!

She should probably spend a couple of years at community college, getting her grades up and her breadth courses taken care of before heading off to university. 4-year colleges are MUCH harder than high school, and she might have a lot of trouble keeping up.

If she can get it up to at least 2.5 and get a decent score on her SATs then she can probably get into a state college.
