What realy makes people jealous? Is it things from thier youth, or recent gf/bf stuff, or both??

I think lack of trust is the biggest reason for people who get jealous. Anyone should be proud that other men/women look at ones partner, your partner can't help it. If you really are in love with someone, true love should be based on trust. If you don't trust someone that you profess to love then why be with them? Both men and women look at members of the opposite sex, that is human nature. Looking doesn't hurt a thing. Why be jealous? It will only get you hurt. I hope this helps.

It's both. The thing is that whenever a man and a woman are together even if it is innocent it can lead to other things. Experiences in life have shown this so most people try to stop something even before it starts.

I believe, and mind you this is only MY opinion. Jealousy is a bad emotion that most people have. Some can control it and some can't. If a woman feels bad about herself, for whatever reasons, she is usually jealous of others who look better and doesn't want her man checking them out. Men get jealous cause they don't want no other man checking out their woman. I believe things in your life growing up add to it, how people treat you, how you feel about yourself, etc. It causes major problems.

i can only speak from my own point of view because for many years i was insanely jealous of my sister who was prettier and more popular even though i was the oldest. i finally figured out that it was not her fault for the way she looked and i had to get a grip of myself and start appreciating what i had and then the jealousy was gone. the main cause was low self esteem.

insecurity makes people jealous, it can happen any time.... when your are young or when you are old, or older.... it depends on what is happening in your life... especially when you suffer rejection

i do not know,but we have a happy open relationship,not jealous ,hell we swing and both have met others just for sex

everyone has jealousy in them. it's both. some people develope higher jealousy than others.
