obviously there is a loyalty as a Jew towards your ethnic heritage as Jews worldwide, but you can't easily box such a complex question like you have put forward. A number of factors would have to be considered for them to place who they are as a race first over loyalties to a country of birth. 1. The immediate danger of Israel to invasion from external threats (e.g six day war...). 2. Large scale persecution (Nazism). 3. Persecution of jews from a different country of birth. Jews have endured persecution in one form or another, some more suttle than others, nevertheless i fully support the right for Israel to use punitive measures of aggression against her enemies, and i am not a Jew.

I hope you realize the racist sentiment underlying your question.

It basically implies that a) Jews are incapable or being as "patriotic" as other Americans and b) That being pro Israel and being a patriotic American are incompatible.

One wonders if you are willing to ask the same question about other ethnicities, especially for those from countries that are hostile to America (e.g. Iran).

Don't kid yourself. If an American Jew had to choose between betraying the US and betraying Israel, what do you think the majority will do?
