I did it with my class (I am a teacher). We had a blast and made a huge mess...my boss was soo mad. It was so much fun.

I did it with a bunch of friends once; we bought a 6-pack of coke and did it all at the same time. It made a huge mess!

I haven't but I saw it on Mythbusters and it was awesome. But what surprised me was what happened when you put dry ice in a 2-liter bottle and then put a little water in it.
