Bali is island in Indonesia thats seems like Hawaii in US..

Been to both.
No comparison. Bali is way better and yes, I've been to both. While my wife and I were there we had the best time and stayed at 4 star hotels for cheap. Go off-season and it will end up being cheaper than Hawaii and best of all you can bargain for rooms. I highly recommend the Le Meridien and the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel. The sunsets from Tanah Lot are amazing (don't miss it). Food is cheap (way cheaper than in Hawaii so don't let people tell you any different).
Just so you know, I live in California, so cost of flight to Hawaii is as cheap as you can get I believe, but still it's much more interesting to fly to an exotic island such as Bali where the locals speak English but just barely.
Bali is broken into regions where there are artisans and such. Some great surfing and snorkeling if you are into that.
Sad that there was some terrorist activity a few years back, but we went before that happened. Hope that not much has changed. Just search the web for some pictures. You can tell that people who went had a blast. Gorgeous pictures and lush scenery. Food is great too, none of this fake luau that they make us tourists pay for and think that we are getting a taste of the local culture.

They're both awesome places. Hawaii would be cheaper and Bali would sound more exotic to others. I would prefer to go to Bali just because we go to Hawaii often since my husband is from there.

bali! ALL THE WAY i havent been to either, but bali is myyyyy dreAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM vacation. screw stinky ol hawaii , lol although ... i wouldnt decline a ticket to go .... by any means
bali just seems soo beautiful, all those fantastic flowers, the people, the ....monkeys running around... and the fact that its so exotic and far away..woo hooo

All those are great places. yet given a call. i could bypass to Thailand. i'm from California and stay 15 minutes removed from the sea coast and Disneyland and it extremely is great so I rather have bias considering the fact that i does no longer desire to bypass to the place I stay. Thailand's lifestyle is plenty greater diverse while usa and Australia have some similarities. in case you do no longer stay close to any beaches then i could say bypass to California. i could say l. a. is the 2nd maximum appropriate city in usa next to new york.
