pin head crickets (you can buy from pet store)
really fairs should not give live animals as prizes.. I wonder how many live??
frogs need live food but becareful about catching bugs to give to them because if you or anyone in your neighbourhood has sprayed bug poison the bug might live but the poison will kill the frog... so unless you live in the country I suggest buying crickets

Insects. Try checking with your nearest pet store to find a commercially prepared pet frog food. I think they'll just eat fish food flakes when in the water, but make sure.

they eat all kinds of bugs and insects. go to the bait shops and see what they carry.make sure he has a nice rock so he can climb out of the water and make sure he gets some sunshine every day
