Also, it seems that it is popular to not have rhythm within that demographics.

There are white people who are just as stupid as blacks when it comes to music. but guess who all are laughing all the way to the bank?

"Worst" is a relative term. All music has rhythm. That's part of the definition of music. Personally, I find it difficult to call rap 'music'. Speaking bad poetry to a beat is an old '50's idea. They were called 'beatnicks'. The more things change, the more they stay the same...

To be clear, I don't like heavy metal either. I like classic rock, R&B, classical, and show tunes. (Yeah, SHOW TUNES!)

Funny thing is the greatest , loudest guitar playing musician was a black man! Long live Jimi Hendrix!

I like all music, but rap bores me silly. Its what you get when people with a grade school education try and make music. It sucks! Sure there are maybe one or two that are enjoyable, but rap in and of its self does not deserve to be a genre of music. I cant understand what people like about Bass that thump thump thumps at the same beat at the highest setting until your molars come out of your teeth. Its like a cry for attention...look at me! I have a $800 sub-woofer in my rusted out shlt box of a car!

Heres the music I like: http://www.last.fm/user/Jose_420/

Music is not about which cultures listen to it, it is about personal choice. Who are you to decide which is the best genre of music? A lot of raw talent goes into heavy guitar solos, its not just about who can rhyme, and who has bling bling. If that's the type of music you listen to, good for you. You must like it because you can relate to it. Others can't. Get over it.

There's no such thing as "worst" music...It's just like what kind of foods people like...There's no set type of "worst" music...Maybe some people just can't understand each other's tastes, possibly because they're biased, or they've only listened to one type of thing...Idk...I myself listen to alot of different genres of music including metal (OMFG) and folk and blues...

Okay, you confuse me, why is it whites that like the worst music?
I listen to everything. Rap, R&B, Hip hop, classical, alternative, rock, heavy metal, country, soul, oldies. There is so much I like. So is it the music you don't like or the white people?

Why do black people still eat the food scraps that the slave master left them? I.E...chitlens, pigs feet, yard bird, aligator gar fish, and the disgusting list goes on. Instead of asking ignorant questions why don't you go get a job instead of hanging in the 'hood' with all ya ****** listening to gangsta rap glorifying; blunt smoking, ho tricking, crack slinging, baby mamma avoiding, rap music. If you see a cop warn a brotha.

That is a VERY racist question and QUITE ignorant as well. It is just like asking, why do all black people listen to rap and R&B, it sounds all the same with all the same topics and it takes no talent!!

P.S.-I truly do not believe that but do you see my point? Grow up and stop stereotyping!

because some people have open minds. why do black people listen to rap and hip hop which for a couple decades now EXCLUSIVELY talk about like 5 topics. hoes, guns, selling highly destructive drugs and being more bling bling than the next guy.

Everybody has different tastes in music. It's an aesthetic thing. What you like, someone else might not.

Why can't black people stop sampling other musicians music and start playing their own instruments during this age of urban music?
