CUBA! Can get all inclusive 5 star hotel in Varadero or Cayo Coco for under $1500.00 at a discount travel website like redtag.ca.
The people are really nice and Cuba is generally a safe country because there are to weapons or drugs. The beaches are amazing, Kool-aid blue waters, white sand, lots of fish for snorklers if you talk to the right people, and you can go on trips to swim with the dolphins. Varadero is a nice to stay, it's really easy to get around and the people like talking to tourists. Most people know a little English.
Don't go if you like shopping because of their high currency and lack of sweatshops and fake clothing. If you do go don't bother tipping, people involved in the tourist industry including the maids and waitresses are the wealthiest class in Cuban Society.
The best part about going to Cuba is buying Cigars at one third to one fifth of the price and selling back home for a nice profit. In some cases it's enough to pay for an enitire trip if you do it right. Hint: Cohiba is the best cigar.

My dh and I went on a cruise this yr and saw several places that we though would be nice to go back to for vacation -
Jamaica was pretty nice and
Cayman Islands were absolutely beautiful
Mexico - Cozumel very nice also........
What can I say I loved it all -

Try northern New Mexico or Colorado. In other countries try Spain, Ice Land, Argentina, Uruguay or Paraguay.

Coastal Oregon (went this this past May) it was beautiful. Bring your camera but don't forget to bring a rain coat.

Go to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.
Go to Sea World and Marineland.
Go to Movieland Wax Museum.
Go to our beaches too. ENJOY YOU TRIP !

Smoky Mountains is my choice. Alot of musical shows, alot of malls, alot of unique shops, alot of nature trails by foot or car. There is also Dollywood for rides and SplashCountry for a water park. Summer or winter, this is my choice.

Almonds and Corals in Puerto Rico. It is charming and out of the way. Flights aren't expensive either.
