My grandma is very evil and calls my bf a dirtball and says we need to go to parenting classes, were both excellent parents, but why is she doing this?? I love my grandma but don't want to hurt her feelings, my boyfriend doesn't want her to see our kid, what to do? He's not dirty just so you know, his family has money I just don't think she likes him and she says we shouldn't get married!

Your grandma either has her own issues and problems, or she just may be right about your boyfriend. Afterall, just because someone has money doesn't mean that they're not "dirty". Maybe you need to take a closer look at him. On the other hand, if your grandma is just simply being mean, I'd say there's probably not a whole lot you can do about it. Just try to tolerate her the best you can coz you sure aren't gonna change her at her age.

It's probably because you had a baby before marriage, or she perceives that he is disrespectful. Does he cuss. But it could be literal, too. Does he shampoo, shower, shave and change clothes at least once a day. Your Grandma shouldn't be calling names, but for some reason he doesn't meet with her approval. It would be an awful thing is you denied your Grandma the joy of being with her great grandchild.

That is a good idea to get married my dad would never say what he has been told or overheard he said if the baby does not have a married father he/she is conciddered a bastard but I do not tag names on people because of situations but some people still do.
marriage might cure this problem if it does not the other thing is move to another state and cut them off cold

Maybe Granny forgot what it was like to be in love with the one of one's own choice. She'll come around, but please don't deny the child from seeing his great grandma. After all Granny wouldn't have a great grandchild if not for the "dirtbag".

Let her have her opinion and tell her while you don't agree with her you will let her see your child as long as she agrees NOT to say these things to your child. Let her know if she can't agree to that you will have no choice but to keep the child away from her, for the protection of your child. It could hurt your child deeply to have bad things said about its parents.
