You can buy a USB cable anywhere. But a USB datacable to hook up your cellphone to the computer for dowloading photos is harder to find. Stores mentioned above will carry them, but thier selection is limited to the more popular phones. And you still have to buy the software.

The honest to God truth is that best play to buy them is from ebay. I've noticed that the largest selection for different types is located here. When I bought one a while ago, I couldn't find the cable in any store. I finally found it on an ebay store and got both the cable and the software program for like ten buck. It wasn't even used.

Everyone else has given you the same advice I would except which brand to use.

I am a network admin and we have literally HUNDRED of computers and devices that all require USB cables - and oddly, most don't come with one!

I started using Belkins - they cost more, but so far none of them have ever had a problem. Make sure which ever one you get has good solid ends - both ends! Weak connections can cause problems. Also look for a good solid metal at the connection points. If you can easily bend it with a small amount of pressure, don't buy it.

Office Max, Staples, or Walmart. USB is fairly cheap. I think a 6' cord will cost about 10 bucks.

If you're in the US, try Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, or any computer store. It should be around $10 - $15.
