There is a lot of confusion going on because i think the dominant agressive male is always preferred but women would prefer that the man sticks around to look after the child, a submissive quality.

Or are we going to toss it up in the air again and say it's something in between?

In between. I want a guy who will ask me out on a date, but will let me help choose where we're going. A guy who will make the first move, but will understand if I don't want to go too far, and will stop if I want him to. A guy who will tell me his honest opinions and views on the world, etc. But can also be tactful and polite about it in public, so people don't think I'm sitting in the corner booth with some loud-mouthed jack***. A man who will offer to pay for dinner, but will let me pay for half when I offer to (unless of course I'm broke, then he can pay. haha) A man who will sometimes let me pay for dinner, and not let it get to his ego.

The middle road is the best when it comes to this, I think. An overly aggressive guy is scary, and a completely submissive one is boring.

Nope, I want someone that is real, not some macho idiot. That means he's intelligent, compassionate, understanding and human. What is this "submissive" stuff anyway? Looking after a child that is part yours is YOUR JOB AS A FATHER! Throw out your terms "aggressive" and "submissive" and lets find a man that's real.

Take-charge. BUT, they should also be willing to be submissive on occasion, if the need arises. A real take-charge man would take charge of the situation and make his wife take a break if she needs it, even if that means that he has to change a few diapers. : )

Submissive and a little jealous type. Take-charge would be the too demanding type, no way.

Dominant aggressive male is always good. Girls always want that special man to take care of them.

We want a take charge kinda guy who is not afraid to to do things that have traditionally been assigned to the woman. There is nothing better than coming home to see that my husband has cleaned and cooked dinner. I don't think that makes him submissive, it makes him sexy.

Dominent males can be a pain in the butt, but they are more likely to go out into the world and make the big bucks for their family that can hang out at the mall while they work.

Yes. Want a guy with confidence, but one that is not overbearing. Happy medium.

Take-charge in real life, equal take-turns in the bedroom.

Submissive while I've got PMT!

I definitly like my men to be, well, men. Sure, sensitive is good, caring and kindness and empathy are key. But still, I need a Man.

Dominant aggressive for SURE. I like my men to be manly. This new metrosexual trend is ridiculous. If I wanted someone who acted like a girl, I'd be a lesbian.
