Super hero baseball?

ok since football resulted with some awesome answes here baseball.

The Hulk already has minor league experience playing outfield. Remember that special with the Rhino? The precog of the Pantheon warned Hulk, "Beware of the green monster" but he wasn't concerned because Banner was confident that he had the monstrous Hulk personality under control. But that's not what she was talking about! It was when they were playing an exhibition game at Fenway Park that Hulk and the Rhino got down and crashed through-- you guessed it-- the famous outfield wall!

btw, why does the Hulk have such big nostrils...?
because he has big fingers!

("Ugh, Hulk can't reach that stubborn booger That makes Hulk mad! Dig deeper!")

Lets see, who else... Spidey has lots of experience snagging flies. (sorry, couldn't resist.) Thor's a power hitter. Quicksilver for designated runner. Bullseye for pitcher, of course! Mr. Fantastic could steal bases easily-- just elongate his legs, and he could touch second while staying in touch with first! There are others, but you get the idea.

Pitcher: Flash (for DC) and Bullseye (for Marvel)
1st Base (and clean up hitter): Superman and Hulk
2nd Base: Batman and Quicksilver
Shortstop: Green Lantern and Spider-Man
3rd Base: Nightwing and Human Torch
Catcher: Steel and Deadpool
Outfield: Plastic Man, Elongated Man, and Elongated Lad for DC and Mr. Fantastic, Stature, and Hank Pym for Marvel

Now, who would win? Well, it'd be pretty tough to decide, cause both sides are evenly matched, and you'd have guys like Quicksilver and Flash, who are able to get home runs just from a bunt. But, I'd think DC would win if they were cheap and had GL control the ball (unless somebody painted it yellow!). But with Deadpool as catcher, he'd provide a great distraction for batters ("Why the hell won't this guy shut up?"), and give Marvel a good chance at winning.

Well, on Marvel's side, Gambit would most certainly have to be the pitcher.

Destiny would make a great ump, she's blind.

I'd make Quicksilver the shortstop of course, if not the entire outfield.

Toad could play catcher, he's always crouching, and could totally catch a ball with his tongue.

Jubilee would be on the DL because she's lame.

Gotta bypass with Hulk or Flash. Hulk could absolutely have the skill to break one outta the city, besides the undeniable fact that the Flash could pitch the ball, run abode to capture it, and if the batter hit it, he could even run it down, and container it, and tag the guy out all with the help of himself. And if you argue about Superman, all it can take replaced right into some catchers to cover some kryptonite of their mitts, and he'd get too susceptible to swing the bat.
