i have to follow my dreams otherwise it will be too late...i dont want to be 35 when i get out of college and wonder where my life went!

Well I started college last year and I am getting ready to start my second year. You are totally right though College is not for everyone...it isn't for me but I have no choice but to go to keep my parents happy while I raise the money I need to follow my real dream of acting...so that is basically what I am doing going to college and saving my money and when I have enough money probalby a year from now I am moving to California to pursue my dreams.

My advice is think before you act. I had other dreams when I got out of High School and now at 33 I am a college student!!

I think it's better to wait a year or two before starting college. Get a job so that you will better understand why you are there. Once you see how much life sucks without a degree, you will be a better student once you go.

I'm about to start my last year. I didn't start appreciating college, till I joined a fraternity and my social life improved. Now, I feel like I don't want to leave. It's been a great experience, for me.

yeah. i can always wait just a few years and take up something else after college--then if it doesn't work out, i've got some major cushioning.
