I've been ever since I was 4 1/2weeks!!!! Where do you women get off thinking if an obvious question to some women is asked that the woman who asked it is stupid and incompetent enough to not even be getting proper medical attention!!!!! Hope you never have a simple question to ask on a web site devoted to asking questions!!

Oh, I don't think getting a little ticked once in a while is going to affect a baby. I'm a human being not a mute non-emotional pregnant woman! geezzzzz

I can see that those pregnancy hormones have reared their ugly head. LOL Just kidding. Membership is not restricted here so you get all kinds answering questions. Some people also get really upset when they see any type of health or medical question. I had indigestion all through out my pregnancies and I was really uncomfortable. I tried everything even spoonfuls of vinegar (don't ask!) Anyway small frequent snacks might help and some Tums.

Don't drink milk..it's an old wives tale. It actually makes it worse! (advice given by a Gastrointologist)
Instead, anything peppermint, gum, teas, etc.
Also there are some herbal remedies out there. Call your local Whole Foods or other Natural/Organic grocery store, and ask them.. I just can't think of the name of the herbal remedy off hand.
I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have any heartburn!
I hope that it goes away!!

Don't let them get to you. You sound like a responsible, intelligent woman. I've had four beautiful children (forgive the bragging) and experienced heartburn with every pregnancy. I kept a bottle of Tums on hand. They worked great for me- instant relief! Best of luck to you.

I suffered from heart burn and indigestion too my doc recommended drinking milk to couteract the acid. it helped usually. Also don't lay down after eating and eat slowly. Sorry the other women were insensitive to your prob. If you asked then you definately care enough.

Wow, I guess the hormones are raging here!!!
Just kidding.....take their response as concern for the baby's health, not criticism of you.
