No chance.....they are a team of bench players with the exceptions of Hafner and Sizemore. The Dolans will never shell out the cash to put together a championship team. As soon as their contracts are up...say goodbye to Travis and Grady...they will go where they will get paid.

Shapiro is trying to put together a team of young offensive talent like the Indians of the mid and late 90s. But even with one of the most feared lineups in baseball, they were still beaten by good pitching.

With the bench players they are, and a AAA pitching staff, you won't see any October baseball in Cleveland any time soon.

I hope I am wrong about that.

Look the indians have a great organizaion Tavis Hafner there best player and some others I think they will make a great run at it and maybe in the next 5 years get there!!

Sure, they made it twice in the '90s so it's not like they have a long history of futility in that area.
