stop ALL foreign aid to the poor of other countries for one year and give it to our poor and homeless here in the U.S.

The US can afford both and ought to be ashamed that it doesn't take better care of the poor and homeless in the US. And just imagine all the good that the money that is spent on useless wars could do in 3rd world countries.

Sounds good. Especially our veterans who are homeless because of disabilities or mental illnesses, or job loss, that our government won't pay to take care of.
