It appears that both parties have a problem with truth. I guess that, that is politics.

However the WMD situation was world opinion, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore all believed in WMDs Let us not forget them.

As far as people dieing under Bush. What would Gore or Kerry do if we were attacked?

We are hearing constant Bush bashing. This question is a good example of why we are hearing constant Bush bashing. The Republicans bashed Clinton. This has been going on a long time, it started probably with Lincoln, but Nixon, Clinton, and Bush have been the most heavily criticized. I think we need to keep our eye on the issues, and not the politicians. Trust a politician and he will do something stupid, or immoral and you have mud on your face. Know the issues, and keep sounding rational and you will always sound right and win any debate.
Your question makes the assumption that all Democrats are red face liars. That's not true, and I'm not a Democrat (I actually oppose the platform). People love the Democrats mainly because they promise and deliver. They promise all these big tax and spend programs that are supposed to help the poor. And poor people and goverment empolyees get paid off to vote for them. This also happens with the Republicans, if you are a defense contractor, or are in the military you might want to vote your pocketbook and vote Republican (of course maybe not if you don't want to go to war). Yeah Republicans are not really far off from Democrats, but that Democrat party is really turning into a radical left wing party.

First, I do not believe people love the Democrats per se, however right now, what the people are thinking is that Bill, Hillary, John and Al's perceived crimes pale in comparison to what they believe about the Republicans right now. The perception now is we were lied about the reasons to going into Iraq, we appear to be bullies around the world, Halaburton (sp) is over charging the government millions on non-bid contracts, big business is getting richer while the common folks are getting poorer, statements were being made about plutonium in Africa that appear to not be true from our president, republican leadership has the gray cloud of accepting money and gifts from big business hanging over them and right or wrong privacies are being taken away without due process, and the current administration appears to seeking retribution against those who disagree with them. While all those who seek power for what ever reason, (as seen through only two political parties) is fodder for the skeptical, right now, the poor behavior of the republicans is trumping the past perceived indiscretions of the democrats because the perceived current abuses affect our lives more.

First people don't love the Democrats as much as they think they do. For example what are the most popular shows in America - yeah Conservative Talk Radio ranks #1, #2 and #3 and the liberal effort to break into that market (Air America) can't even get sponsors and stay in the black - they don't even show up on the ratings. The Democrats have the press, and the press loves them like there is no tomorrow....that is why you have the impression "people" love the Democrats but they don't.

People see through them for what they are; they don't really want to cut and run from Iraq they just want GW and the Republicans to lose - that is all that matters - they want to say GW lost and beat him up for it. Look at Myrtha the DNC's spokesman on the war...claiming that soldier killed people in cold blood - where is his apology to that soldier? They found he acted in self defense and dropped all charges - where is Myrthas' apology? People see through this.

Environment - its not about concern for the environment its about taxing and regulating commerce and capitalism. The Democrats use the environment as a tax scheme and self employment act for bureacrats - people see through their lies on this....just how did the earth melt off 5 ice ages without man causing global warming - oops...can't explain that one can they.
