Cat hair can not travel to the uterus or fallopian tubes. It has nothing to do with reproduction.

Cat's hair has nothing to do with it . It could be any small object. If a foreign object is placed in the vagina, it will produce a substance to protect the vagina from bacteria. This substance can be used as a mild spermicide. So yes it is a form of birth control, although it is more commonly used in animals than humans.

Well, if you get a cat's "HEIR" in your vagina, and no human semen near your vagina, then, no, you wan't get pregnant, unless you have sufficient feline DNA to effect this process.
Provided that cat's "HEIR" was a direct descendant of the cat, and carried no human dna..
Addendum: How much cat's HAIR? Thirty or forty pounds might work.

Cat's hair will inserted in the vagina can not only cause severe infections, it can also cause extreme birth defects to any pregnancy that results from using it during sex. No cat's hair is not a contraceptive...at all.
