Why does everyone hate Muslims?

Just b/c osama was bad doesnt mean the ENTIRE religion is. Bush is killing alot of innocent people in there countries too. i wanna know what the teens perspective is to this.

Lets put it this way, Bush is anti muslim. He makes it seem like all muslims are terriosts and hates America and other religions. That is not true. Islam is a realigion of PEACE. Prophet Muhammad have said him self that, if your religion sleeps on a empty stomatch and you (the muslim person) sleeps with a full stomatch, you are not consider to be a muslim. Regardless of what religion your neighbor is (jew, chirsitain, hindu and so on). In other words, prophet muhammed him self have said that, to help Jews and Christians and all other religions when they are in need of help. But, IN MEDIA THEY NEVER SAY THIS. They make it seem like MUSLIMS hates America, trying to brain wash everyone that it is okay to kill muslims. He is trying to distinguish Americans feelings for muslims as a human being. The truth is, I LOVE AMERICA AND AMERICANS. Americans have treated me very well, and i have a great deal of respect for all Americans, but I don't like the president. Its scary, that the most racist guy in the world has the most power.

As a teen Muslim, and part of the new generation, I can see both sides of the story. People who are against Muslims are the kind of people who haven't explored enough and think a handful of so called Muslims (Osama, Saddam, etc.) represent the whole Muslim population. There is such a thing as an extremist, which means someone who goes way extreme on their religion. Some people I guess think that bombing and killing people who don't practice religion right is something an extremist would do. But that isn't right, b/c if somebody who died, didn't die and survived, maybe they would have found the right path and gone to Heaven eventually. In the meantime, we can't stop everything that is going on, but we can make a different image of the Muslims, the real image of them, and gain respect from people. Keep this in mind. And I guess its working, because Islam is the 2nd most popular practiced religion, and its the fastest growing. I guess we know where this can hopefully lead us. Stay calm, religious, and patient my brothers and sisters.

Most the deaths in the muslim counties are from secretarian violence between Sunnis and Shiite Muslims. Occasionally a bomb drops on the wrong building, but it's not like Bush is trying to puposely kill civilians. But I do think Bush does a horrible job explaining what it is we are doing. Don't listen to what he says, just research it yourself and everything will make sense.

I don't hate Muslims at all. I just hate the ones who don't even understand their own religion. In the Quran it says suicide is an act against God and yet they blow themselves up. Then the Radical Clerics tell everyone that it's not "suicide" it's "martydom" so it's all the sudden okay.

I think the people who think that haven't had any muslim friends. And as for Bush............ where do I begin???? He has many problems he doesn't care who he kills as long as they are muslim and he doesn't care how many americans get killed in the process. Why?? I have no idea. That man's mind (if he has one lol) is one of the greatest mysteries of the world. I think some peole are afraid of Muslims because of the scare tactic our president Bush is using he isn't the only one responsible but I do beleive that as president he should be settting a better example and he should also have more brain power....... but that's another story.

Bush probably sees it as they came over and killed our ppl so who cares what we do to them and alot of them are against america.. lol i don't know if thats all true but who knows... I don't have a problem with them either, cuz i have a muslim friend as well.. i don't like the whole fact of him killing alot of innocent ppl either but nothing i can do..

growing up in the most populated muslim area in the united states, I got to meet many different muslim people. I think that a lot of muslims come off very cocky especially men. The men also act degrading to american women. They act like vulgur construction workers who have no cuth. Also muslims only make muslim friends. It makes them seem like they are acting better then us. And when muslim people speak muslim in public areas it also seems like an insult. its like saying oh we are above you so I dont have to speak english. Its not the religion, its how the culture acts. As far as the war goes, we went to vietnam didnt we??? Bush isnt trying to kill people... he is just stickin his nose somewhere it didnt belong in the first place

Everybody doesn't hate Muslims.

However, people like to say it and it causes other people
to get very upset.

There are lots of people who don't like Muslims in this country
because they don't seem to be able to distinguish between a
relatively small number of terrorists and a gigantic number of
peaceful relgious followers.

However, there are lots of people who DO understand the
difference. They haven't been all that loud, but they understand
how fearmongering is worsening everybody's quality of life.

You see its like this... sometimes you have to thin out the herd before it gets to big and too bold. If there are to many they start to attack. Its kinda like putting a Native American teen in jail BEFORE he gets drunk and steals an old ladies purse... we know he is going to do it... so we jail him before he does. Same goes for those peace loving muslims.
