i'm looking for an mp3 player but i can't find a good one and i don't want a ipod

ignore schmifty he just likes to stroke his ipod when he's alone in bed at night so you have to understand why he's a 'pod fanboy.
either that or he's an apple employee cos ipods are style over substance - they couldn't be more overrated if they tried.
creative do indeed make better products, you get gigabytes more storage at a cheaper price than the equivalent apple product.

there are other makers of course, but only apple and creative tend to dominate the market when it comes to high storage and/or 'photo' devices.
people never mention nokia mobile phones when it comes to mp3 players, any decent nokia comes with a memory card slot so you can handle quite a few gigabytes of music right on your phone, with the advantage of being able to install games and apps onto the memory card too.

i know you said "I dont want a ipod" but im just going to say it again do not buy an ipod. Creative is probably the best company for mp3 players.They have many different types, features, and prices to meet your needs.

actually another alternative which FINAlly beat the ipod is the creative zen vision m. uhh compare the specs: zvm-262k color screen vs ipod-62k color screen. sound quality-zvm vs ipods pfft ipods sucks. features zvm wins of course, fm radio microphone video support for lots of formats, beautiful screen, ipod-LMAO sucks. Zvm loves it!
