I love them - we had a humdinger last night, but my dog hides under the bed every time we have one!

I like thunderstorms as long as they don't get too violent.
We had one several nights ago where the lightening became very dangerous and was striking things on the ground. It struck a blue spruce tree (about 25 ft. tall) in my side yard and burnt it half way to the ground. Now that's just a bit too intense.

I was born and raised in the part of the USA that has the highest number of thunderstorms. The area from Tampa, through Orlando, to Daytona Beach, Florida, has more thuder and lightening storms than any where else in the USA.
When I moved to California in 1973 the air felt dead out there because there was so little ozone in the air. Lightening creates ozone.
In 2001 I moved back to Central Florida and enjoy the lightening and rolling thunder. My two cats hide.

I love thunderstorms. I love heavy rain, and basically almost any kind of extreme weather that is awesome, but not to damaging. Going out in the middle of a thunderstorm and lying down on a bench in the front/back yard is just my own personal eutopia. I wish that another would come soon....

Yes, I love thunderstorms. I love to watch the lightening off in the distance streak through the sky--as long as it is not close.

I love them. I have a little boy who is 20 months old who, every time we have a storm, he goes right for his window. He loves the lightning and the hail that we get. It is great. He bangs on his window and laughs when the thunder strikes. It is very cute.

I love them. we had a real doozy a few nights ago. Continuous lightning and thunder. I sat on my front porch with my dog(she hates them) and watched for hours. It knocked out the electricity,so I had another good excuse to watch.

I like thunderstorms unless it is windy...when the wind gets bad it scares me.

I'm not afraid of thunder and lightening, but I do get worried when the winds get strong.
