when we have company my dog likes to hum there leg i think its funny. what do you think?

Since you think it's funny, then your leg should be the only one getting humped. If your company doesn't enjoy it, then put your dog in a cage, basement or outside when you have guests over.

as a kid I used to let our dog loose just to see that

but my Mom did not see the funny side ,at least not officially.
