Why the terrorists have already won?

We are suspicious of our nieghbor more so now than ever.

Race hate is going up on a daily basis

The government is taking more and more liberty and freedom to protect us and it won't end until we are living in an armed miltary camp.

The airlines are nothing more than a fearful episode of government control now and thats going to get worse.

We will end up living in a police state not unlike Iran's or Iraq's


Who else thinks the terrorists have already won and if not why not?

I am a pliot, and NO, the airlines arent a fearful episode of government control.

The airlines are businesses set up by people who love flying. they do not make money, but just get by. They are a service provided by private citizens to help other citizens.
There is nothing wrong with US airlines.

We have lost ZERO rights in this war. I havent noticed a single change in anything I can do. I dont care if the NSA listens in on me, because They wouldnt give a **** about what Im talking about anyway.

I feel that terrorism is just a small group, and it is. It took 16 people to do 9/11. only 16 people.
It took 2 people to do oklahoma city.
In Iraq, 2 soldiers are killed every day. That only requires 1 attacker.
So overall, the total amount of terrorists are in the hundreds. thats not exactly alot.

They haven't won yet because it could get worse or it could
get better.

"win" is such a final word.

We may have a regime change here (or at least in Congress).
We may find out an immense amount from the terrorists
recently captured.

People may become densitized to terror and regain their
priorities and start fighting for their quality of life back.

Although the terrorists have caused major damage in
our morale, they haven't achieved their own victories.

Its a tough road no matter which way you go.

The terrorists created and multiplied by Israel and the foreign policies of the Bush Administration? Or....

The terrorists otherwise known as Israel and the Bush Administration? If these are the terrorists that you are speaking of....then yes, they are winning. The other terrorists may think they are winning, but they don't really know that they are doing Israel and Bush's bidding - helping them to win in the end.

Is there nobody left that would rather DIE than think such a thing? If you see no good left in the world you live a sad, pathetic existence. Yes we have had to sacrifice to accommodate this new type of warfare but the good, true Americans will never submit. "What is a man who does not try to make his country better?" When 3,000 were killed at Pearl Harbor, we launched the largest world invasion ever. When 3,000 were killed at WTC, we invaded Afghanistan. For reasons unclear, we then invaded Iraq.

When we get serious about this war and mobilize 50 million fighting men of allied countries to start in Morocco and work their way east to the Philippines, killing every suspected terrorist and overthrowing every dictator in their path, then it will be over.

I am embarassed by the allied response to terrorism. I'm embarassed by the liberal attitude of appeasement. They want to destroy us. They target civilians - our sons and daughters; little girls. And this is the best we can do? Pathetic.

i agree and disagree with you, i do think that this country is riding on a lot of fear, just to give you a small example, ADT sercurity company tripled its projected profits in year 2002, but ithink we have elimated alot of terrorist out there, but i will say there are still too many, but also remember we are givng people in the middle east freedom that they never had before, this will be a war that will last at least twenty years, but i think that we will prevail, and we will win, they have not won , we are still fighting for human rights all over the world in every country

I am Muslim,
and beleive me that is not our religion, we are suffering from terrorism as much as you do and may be more, but the real muslim will never kill an innocent human being.
when someone decides to blow himself and die with his own hand, he gotta have a case and a cause to die for, try to find WHY a young man would blow up himself ? why would he take his own life leaving the people he love his family and his childrens to blow an airplan or a train, they want you to lesiten, they want you to see, stop watching the CNN and the FOXNEWS they are hiding the trouth.
