That's absolute bull. Heterosexuals can marry for the benefits too, you know.
Have you ever met anyone willing to profit off of homosexuality? Someone willing to be hated by complete strangers, to be shunned from society, to be looked down upon, to face prejudice just for a tax break?
Yeah, I don't either.

I agree with Answerman. That is the lamest argument I've ever heard. And I voted for the Ohio state constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.

lol...You blind man...I know a lot of people who got married just for the benefits. You see it a lot in the military. So what does having gay got to do with it? I know a lot of gay couples who's relationships have lasted longer than a majority of straight relationships.

Yeah like that's really gonna happen. If it did it would be happening among straight people too. Why don't you homophobes just get a life and stop worrying about other people. Live and let live. Do you really hate your life so much that you have to hate other people to make yourself feel better? I feel bad for you. It must really suck to have to live with that much hate in your heart and soul.

That is the lamest excuse for an argument against gay marriage that I have ever seen. Congratulation on first place.

If gays could marry, the economy would boom - gay guys LOVE planning weddings...and gays have a lot of disposable income to throw around... it would be FABULOUS...

You make no sense. You're arguing about a potential theory that is already true. When you're back from under your rock, rethink your question.

I don't get it. Couldn't people say they were straight, get married, and get benefits? Your logic is off.
