We use software that already has the job listed on how many hr's we get paid to do a job you can purchase similar software our hrly rate is $75

This is what we use http://buymitchell1.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=MLE06&Category_Code=ESTMAN

If you penny pench your going to cost yourself more money pay for the software and make more money more effecently ... mis calulating service will put you out of business.

there is a manual that is published for the dealers and repair shops,,we have to buy them,,every year,,but they help determine the rate of which we charge,,i own a repair shop in Tennessee and don't fool with them any more,,there rates are like 45-65 bucks an hour on some jobs,,we live on modern times where the average person cant pay these prices,,i have a flat rate if 35 bucks an hour,,and sometimes it goes lower than that,,it just depends on the job,,and i have been doing it for 35 yrs,,im not getting rich at it,,but i earn an honest living,,i hope this helps.

The flat rate was the average of 3 techs doing the same job with hand tools , the times were an official average on a legal time clock !!!!
